Lindsay Knights win Bi-District Playoff game vs Alvord 64-38

John Rohmer scored 17 points, helping Lindsay notch a 64-38 victory over Alvord on Monday. Knights grabbed the lead against Alvord (TX) on a three-pointer from Brandon Craigie in the second period and held on.
An impressive 20-point second quarter on the strength of a 12-3 run allowed Lindsay to pull ahead and eventually claim a 29-24 lead by halftime.
Rohmer led the charge for Lindsay’s offense, scoring 17 points, with eight points during the fourth period. He also contributed five rebounds and two steals.
Three other players also added ten or more points for Lindsay. Craigie scored 12 points, Cole Barnes added 10 points, and Luke Metzler racked up 10 points. Also chipping in for Lindsay were Roshan Patel (7 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal), Josh Wallace (3 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals), Parkhill (2 points), and Jake Swarner (2 points, 1 rebound) and Cameron Hughes (1 point). Craigie was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up nine rebounds and one block.
Lindsay finished the game with 36 rebounds (13 offensive / 23 defensive), one block and 10 steals.
