The Lindsay Knight baseball team started district play 2-0 after defeating Chico Tuesday 21-6, and then Era today 10-0.The Knights have hit a power surge lately with Yancey Otto’s two homeruns last Thursday in the Windthorst tournament and yesterday’s homeruns by Kinzy Turbeville and Dawson Anderle.Anderle also hit an inside-the-park homer in today’s game. ,Yancey picked up the win on the mound yesterday while Kinzy Turbeville ( winning pitcher) and Cameron Hughes combined for a no-hitter today against Era. I am very proud of the guys for bouncing back after a rough weekend in Windthorst.The next action will be Monday in Lindsay vs Muenster at 7:00 PM. GO KNIGHTS !!!!
