Lindsay Knights Varsity Notch A Win Against Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX)
Merrick Parkhill scored 25 points to lead Lindsay to a 86-48 victory over Sam Rayburn on Tuesday.
With a 22-2 run during the first quarter, Lindsay Knights Varsity pulled ahead and eventually claimed a 42-22 lead by halftime.
Parkhill led the charge for Lindsay’s offense, scoring 25 points, with 18 points during the first period. He also contributed two rebounds and one steal.
Zane Hughes (12 points) and Tyler Yancy (11 points) each sunk multiple three-pointers. Also chipping in for Lindsay were Clinton Wallace (8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal), Kyle Popp (8 points, 2 rebounds), Seth Foster (7 points, 3 steals, 1 block), Jack Popp (4 points, 5 rebounds), Jake Metzler (2 points, 2 rebounds), and Justin Fuhrmann (2 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals).
Lindsay finished the game with 28 rebounds (14 offensive / 14 defensive), two blocks and 14 steals.
