Knights 6-0 in District with a 60-44 win over Valley View

Lindsay Knights Varsity Beat Valley View
Merrick Parkhill scored 16 points to bring Lindsay to a 60-44 victory over Valley View on Tuesday.
With a 27-2 run during the first quarter, Lindsay Knights Varsity pulled ahead and eventually claimed a 34-19 lead by halftime.
Parkhill found success all over the court for Lindsay, making 45% (5-for-11) of shots attempted while also sinking 60% (3-for-5) of free throws attempted.
Justin Fuhrmann put two three-pointers on the board and scored 11 points total. Two other players also scored in the double digits for Lindsay. Seth Foster had 11 points. Also helping the effort for Lindsay were Clinton Wallace (6 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal), Tyler Yancy (5 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal), Jack Popp (4 points, 3 rebounds), Cayden Raines (2 points), and Kyle Popp (2 points, 5 rebounds). Fuhrmann was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up four rebounds and three steals.
Lindsay finished the game with 30 rebounds (11 offensive / 19 defensive) and eight steals.
