Lindsay emerged victorious 71-35 against Tioga on Monday on the strength of Merrick Parkhill, who scored 29 points.
Putting up a 31-24 lead at the half, Lindsay Knights Varsity scored points early in the game. Lindsay locked in their lead in the final quarter, scoring 23 points.
Parkhill had a great game from the field, making 56% (10-for-18) of shots attempted as well as 67% (6-for-9) of threes attempted. He also shot well from the line, making 100% (3-for-3) of free throws attempted.
Clinton Wallace went into double digits, scoring 13 points for Lindsay (4-for-5). Also contributing for Lindsay were Seth Foster (8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal), Jack Popp (6 points, 15 rebounds, 3 blocks), Tyler Yancy (5 points), Jake Hellman (3 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal), Jake Metzler (3 points), Kyle Popp (2 points, 1 steal, 2 blocks), and Justin Fuhrmann (2 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals).
