On Thursday the Lindsay HS Cross Country teams traveled to Fort Worth to participate in the Metroplex Challenge at The Buff. This was a very challenging and hilly course and Lindsay was the only 2A school at the meet and there was one 3A school and the rest were 4A and above.

The Boys ran in the Varsity 5000m and Blair Martinson finished 11th with a 18:44.46, Sean Stoffels finished 29th with a 20:26.90 and Collin Clark finished 42nd with a 20:57.02.

The girls finished 2nd as a team behind Ft Worth Castleberry and ahead of Argyle in 3rd. Kayln Pulte finished 3rd with a 13:39.03, Theresa Wyrick finished 14th with a 14:46.48, Brenna Fleitman finished 15th with a 14:47.08, Natalie Acala finished 17th with a 14:49.66, Katherine Haverkamp finished 35th with a 17:15.56 and Marisa Rodriguez finished 42nd with a 19:58.87.

The Lindsay Cross Country teams will run in their last meet prior to district next Saturday in Decatur at the Reunion Run.
