I hope everyone is having a great summer! We are very excited about the upcoming school year and all of the work that has been put in to get ready for the
2025-2026 seasons. I wanted to be sure and touch base with you regarding some important dates that are coming up in the next couple of weeks.
First and foremost, please make sure your athlete has a physical BEFORE reporting for workouts. Incoming 7th, 9th and 11th grade students are REQUIRED to have a physical this season. Anyone else who had a diagnosed concussion or major surgery is required to have one as well. Even if the athlete does not need a physical, they must still fill out the medical history form. Parent and student/athlete must sign and date.
There will be a parent meeting on Tuesday, July 29th at 6:00 pm in the high school gymnasium for male and female athletes grades 7-12. This will cover athletic policies, procedures, workout schedules and required paperwork. As you enter the gymnasium, we will have coaches stationed to make sure your child has their UIL paperwork turned in. If you have not completed all of the required paperwork, we will have copies available at the meeting or you can access the forms on the UIL website. If you have the paperwork completed but not turned in, please bring it to the parent meeting. We will also introduce the Lindsay Knight coaching staff for the
2025-2026 school year.
We have changed Meet the Knights to Friday this year. Meet the Knights will take place at the football stadium. The Booster Club will be serving hot dogs at 6:30 pm and Meet the Knights will follow with an estimated start time of 7:00pm. More information about Meet the Knights will be sent out soon.
